What every client needs to know about Giardia...
Recently, one of our clients had an unfortunate experience that we would like to share with you. Both dogs in the household were diagnosed with Giardia, a single celled protozoan parasite that causes severe GI upset. Shortly after, the owner came down with similar symptoms and was also diagnosed with Giardia. While a transmission like this is rare, it can happen. That is why we recommend testing for Giardia and practicing good hygiene with stool clean up.
