We find this most useful for detecting abdominal masses or growths involving the Spleen, Liver or Intestines. In addition the presence of Bladder stones and chronic urinary problems can be better understood with the use of ultrasound.

Radiology – or X-rays – help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular(cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems. Hear What Some Of Our Clients Have To Say...

“My 7 year-old Golden Retriever was in need of knee surgery after tearing the ligament in her left leg. The vet that I had been bringing her to didn't have a doctor on staff that would do the surgery. They actually were going to have a doctor who that was retired come in just to do the surgery. I was not comfortable with this so I started to research other vets in the area. I found many fantastic reviews for Broadview Animal andBirdHospitalI figured I would check it out. I am SO glad that I did! This business is full of the most compassionate people I have ever met. Dr Shaw spent a ton of time with me explaining everything about the knee repair procedure. My dogs will never set a foot inside another vet's office. PERIOD. Best place ever!!”

"Been seeing Dr. Shaw since he took over the practice in '86. The staff is professional and friendly, and Dr. Shaw is terrific! He's provided our cats with exceptional care (for wellness, geriatric, and more serious illnesses). His experience and skill are invaluable, and I can credit him with saving the life of one of our rescued males (who had been misdiagnosed at a local emergency vet hospital). He wouldn't be around today if it wasn't for Dr. Shaw. For my husband and I (and our current brood of 12 kitties), it's worth the 45 minute drive.”

“In contrast to vets I have used in the past, the vets at this practice are incredibly patient in explaining procedures and test outcomes in layman's terms. They are cognizant of costs and explain why an expense is necessary and how it benefits the pet. The entire staff, from the receptionist to the vet techs are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this practice. Their office hours are expansive and costs reasonable. You cannot do better in theClevelandarea.”

“Dr Shaw and his Professional Staff take great care of my dog and 3 kittty cats. The Staff takes their time with anything you'd have a concern about. Always getting an answer back for you. When my one kitty had to have a forepaw amputated Dr Shaw told me he comes back afterhours at night to take further care of his overnight patients; and that I could visit her then. Since I worked this was a huge relief to me. I can't tell him how much that meant to my peace of mind. His expertise is 2nd to none. None. Compassion, kindness, and expert knowledge is the trademark of this vet clinic, it hasn't changed for the 11 years I've visited with my 'kids'.”
